Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceLab (“VoiceLab”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit voicelab.uz, create an account, use VoiceLab Studio, call our APIs, or otherwise interact with our voice AI products (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. For product terms of use, see our Terms page when available; for privacy questions, contact info@voicelab.uz.
1. Data controller and contact
VoiceLab operates the Services and acts as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with accounts, website analytics we control, billing records, and support communications.
Primary contact for privacy requests: info@voicelab.uz. Phone: +998 97 115 40 60. Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Enterprise customers may have a separate data processing agreement (DPA) that governs processing performed on their instructions. Where a DPA applies, that agreement controls for the covered processing.
2. Scope of this policy
This Policy covers personal data processed through our marketing site, authentication flows, VoiceLab Studio workspace, developer/API access, trials, billing and usage records, and customer support.
It also covers audio, text, transcripts, voice profiles, and related artifacts you submit or generate when using text-to-speech (TTS), speech-to-text (STT), captions, dubbing, meetings, agents, and related features.
Third-party sites, models, or tools that you connect on your own (outside VoiceLab-controlled integrations) have their own privacy practices.
3. Personal data we collect
Account and profile data: name, email, username, authentication identifiers, profile image (if provided), organization or team membership, and preferences such as language and UI settings.
Authentication and security data: login events, session tokens/cookies, password hashes (where applicable), multi-factor or verification codes, OAuth provider identifiers (for example Google or Telegram), IP address, device/browser metadata, and fraud-prevention signals.
Billing and commercial data: plan, credits or usage balances, invoices, payment references processed by our payment providers, and related tax or company details you submit.
Product content and usage: prompts/text you send to TTS, uploaded or recorded audio for STT and related tools, generated audio, transcripts, captions, project metadata, API keys/service-account metadata, request logs needed for security and debugging, and feature usage metrics.
Support and communications: messages you send to us, demo or contact-form submissions, and related correspondence.
Website and device data: cookies or similar technologies, pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, and performance/error diagnostics.
4. Sources of data
We collect data directly from you (account creation, product use, forms), automatically from your device when you use the Services, and from identity providers when you sign in with a third-party account.
If you invite teammates or connect integrations, we may receive identifiers and configuration data needed to provide that access.
5. How we use personal data
To provide and operate the Services: create accounts, authenticate users, run TTS/STT and related models, store project outputs you request, and expose APIs and developer tools.
To secure the Services: detect abuse, prevent fraud, enforce rate limits, investigate incidents, and protect accounts and infrastructure.
To bill and measure usage: calculate credits, enforce plan limits, and keep financial records.
To communicate with you: service notices, security alerts, support replies, and—where permitted—product updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
To improve quality and reliability: aggregated analytics, error monitoring, and evaluating model/product performance. We do not sell your personal data.
To comply with law and enforce rights: respond to lawful requests, protect users, and establish or defend legal claims.
6. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location and applicable law, we process personal data based on: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request); legitimate interests (securing and improving the Services in ways that do not override your rights); consent (where required, for example certain cookies or optional processing); and legal obligation.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
7. Audio, voice, and generated content
Audio and text you submit are processed to deliver the feature you requested (for example synthesizing speech or producing a transcript). We treat this content as confidential customer data subject to access controls.
Retention of content depends on product settings, plan, and technical necessity (for example temporary processing buffers, history features you enable, or debugging after a failure). You can delete eligible history items in-product where that control exists, or request deletion via info@voicelab.uz.
Do not upload content you are not authorized to process. You are responsible for obtaining any required consents from speakers or rights holders before submitting voice recordings or personal data of others.
We may use de-identified or aggregated signals to improve reliability. We do not use your private account content to train public foundation models for unrelated third parties unless we clearly disclose otherwise and obtain any required consent.
9. International transfers and storage
VoiceLab is based in Uzbekistan. Depending on your plan and configuration, data may be processed in Uzbekistan and/or in regions where our subprocessors operate.
Enterprise customers may request regional or on-premise deployment options subject to separate agreement. Contact info@voicelab.uz for enterprise privacy and residency requirements.
10. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above: account lifetime plus a reasonable period for backups, dispute resolution, security logs, and legal retention duties.
Usage logs and security logs may be retained for shorter or longer windows depending on risk and compliance needs. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including transport encryption (TLS), access controls, least-privilege practices for staff and service accounts, and monitoring for abuse.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and API keys and for configuring team permissions carefully.
13. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent.
To exercise rights, email info@voicelab.uz with enough detail to verify your request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
If you are in a jurisdiction with a supervisory authority, you may also lodge a complaint with that authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
14. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact info@voicelab.uz and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
15. Automated processing
VoiceLab uses automated systems, including machine-learning models, to generate speech, transcripts, and related outputs you request. These systems process the inputs you provide to produce the requested result.
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without appropriate human involvement where required by law.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email when appropriate.
Continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
